Indira Awaas Yojana was implemented for the construction of houses free of cost to SC/ST and the poor below poverty line.

This scheme is related to the construction of Rural housing.

Cost of providing house sites is 50:50 (Center and State) in North-East states and Sikkim is 90:10 and in Union Territories Central Government will bear 100%.
